E-MICRO: Not Receiving E-mail Alert Messages

Issue: Not receiving E-mail alert messages.

Cause: Using E-mail that supports encryption.

Solution: When using security encryption, make sure the email server supports TLSv1,2 Authentication Protocol.

OR

Cause: E-mail does not support encryption, instead uses standard authentication.

Solution: When using standard authentication (which only requires a username and password), make sure the username and passwords are entered correctly and that “Use Authentication” is checked.

NOTE: Make sure the port number entered is correct.
