E-16D: How to Control the Digital I/O Expander via SNMP?

Locate the OIDs using the MIB files provided in the installation CD or the firmware downloads page.

Ensure that the read-write community name is correctly entered in the ENVIROMUX and the SNMP software. The name is case-sensitive.

The digital inputs (remoteInputNormalValue) for both E-DI16DO16 and E-DI16DOR16 are fixed values and are not writable. The values are closed (0) and open (1). The normal condition (open or closed) has to be configured via the web interface; it is not writable via SNMP.

The open-collector outputs (remoteOutputRelaystatus) for the E-DI16DO16 are writable and their states can be changed via SNMP SET commands.

The output relays (remoteOutputRelaystatus) for the E-DI16DOR16 are writable and their states can be changed via SNMP SET commands.
