E-5D: Cannot access ENVIROMUX user interface with Ethernet connection via Telnet

Issue: Cannot access ENVIROMUX user interface with Ethernet connection via Telnet.

Cause: Telnet not enabled.

Solution: Enable Telnet through web interface.

  1. Via the web interface, select the “Network Configurations” page.

  2. Under “Server Settings,” place a checkmark in the box “Enable Telnet.” The default Telnet setting is “disabled.”

OR

Cause: Cable not wired correctly.

Solution: Check that cables are wired pin-to-pin (1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc.)

OR

Cause: Cable is faulty.

Solution: Substitute with known good patch cable.
