E-MICRO: Cannot Connect via Telnet

Issue: Cannot connect via Telnet

Cause: Ethernet cable not connected

Solution: Check Ethernet cable connection

OR

Cause: Wrong IP address.

Solution: Use Discovery Tool to locate IP address.

  •    Download the Device Discovery Tool here.
  •    Open Device Discovery Tool, and click on “Detect NTI Devices”.
  •   All NTI devices on your network will be displayed.

OR

Cause: Telnet not supported via operating system.

Solution: Use a terminal program instead of the command line.
