What is the difference between the E-LD-LCx-y, E-LDx-y and E-LDSx-y?

The E-LDx-y and E-LDSx-y are essentially the same unit with the same water detection capabilities. They both detect a liquid depth of >0.1” (2.5 mm) and a minimum puddle of 0.6” (15 mm) diameter.

The E-LDSx-y comes with an additional LDS box that makes it compatible with the E-SEMS-16(U)'s RJ45 inputs. The LDS box is not required when using the E-2D/5D/16D or E-MINI-LXO as the 2-wire plenum cable on the E-LDx-y is compatible with their digital input terminals.

Unlike the E-LDx-y and E-LDSx-y, the E-LD-LCx-y does not have a non-conductive polymer mesh covering its sensing wires and is thus more sensitive to water detection. If the sensitivity is causing false alerts, a timed delay can be set for the sensor input through the ENVIROMUX unit to prevent such instances.

Additionally, the E-LD-LCx-y is not compatible with our Self-Adhesive Clips (E-CLP10-LD) for holding the sensor rope in place as it has a much smaller diameter than the E-LDx-y and E-LDSx-y.
