There are two display options when using Dual Mode on the SPLITMUX-HD-2LC. In dual mode, the screen is split into two fields of equal size displaying the entire contents of two different video sources side-by-side.

The first option is to stretch the images. The images will each fill half the screen, and will be stretched vertically. Their widths will be cut in half to display both images. To select this display option, choose Mode 3.

The second option is to have both images retain their aspect ratio. When doing this, black bands will appear above and below the images. To select this display option, choose Mode 4.
