The NTI Discovery Tool application does not detect any NTI devices

Issue:
The NTI Discovery Tool application does not detect any NTI devices.

Cause:
The NTI Discovery Tool does not detect devices located across sub-nets of a network.

Example: A PC running the Discovery Tool application connected to a 192.168.3.XXX network will only search the 192.168. 3.XXX sub-net for NTI devices and will not detect any NTI device connected to 192.168. 1.XXX network.

Solution:

Run the Discovery Tool on a computer connected to the same sub-net as the NTI devices that need to be detected.

OR
Use a crossover cable or adapter to directly connect a computer to the
network connection of the NTI device. Then run the Discovery Tool.
