ST-C5V-600 VGA Extenders via CAT5: My video card does not correctly detect my remote monitor OR my remote monitor no longer has a high-resolution display.

Issue:
My video card does not correctly detect my remote monitor OR my remote monitor no longer has a high-resolution display.

Cause:
If you have ?Auto detect? or ?Plug-n-Play? selected under your video card driver options, it may affect what resolutions are available after boot up.

Solution:
Only the XTENDEX ST-C5V-600 VGA Extender via CAT5 local unit passes DDC monitor data to your video card. With ?Auto detect? or ?Plug-n-Play? disabled on your video card driver options, you can manually select a resolution and refresh rate of your choice.

Warning:
Do not choose a setting that is beyond the capabilities of your attached monitor(s).
